Mission Call Received

Exciting Day! Hayley received her mission call on October 4, 2009 to the Baltic Mission. The Baltic mission covers Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania and is one of the few missions that does not include a country or capital in the mission name.

These countries each have their own language and 30% of the population speaks Russian. Missionaries learn either Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian or Russian. Hayley will be learning Lithuanian. As of July 2009, the mission included 100 missionaries (25% Sisters, 75% Elders, 10 Senior Couples, 4 Couples and 2 Single Sisters).
